HIRO III - the world's first advanced five-fingered haptic interface robot. It allows user touching 3D objects in virtual reality. The realistic sense of touch is created by transfering contact forces to the fingertips. Interface simulates textures of surfaces, shape of virtual objects, and a sense of weight.
